We recommend TOEFL Official Guide if you challenge advanced. The book is expensive but worthwhile when you study all four skills of English. In addition, the topics of is are wide enough to test your vocabulary.

TOEFL costs around 20 thousand Yen. Therefore, taking the test many times hurts your wallet. Though many universities accept TOEFL scores instead of their original English test, most high school students cannot afford to challenge TOEFL many times.

When you look at the Official Guide, you will soon find that TOEFL is much more complicated than other standardized tests. Vocabulary is high level as you have never seen some words in your English textbook.

A test-taker answers many questions in 3 passages in the reading section. Time is only 60 minutes. The 60 minutes are likely too short for you to complete the section. Experiencing that is valuable to you because you are likely to get motivated.

During high school, you may learn some vocabulary books. However, after trying the Official Guide, you would realize the need to buy another vocabulary book.

TOEFL Official Guide is a textbook with CDs which is for Listening, Speaking, and Writing section. What is more, listening skills are required to answer in Speaking section and Writing section because some questions in the test ask you to integrate English skills.
